There are many things that you should need to know about iPod games download so that you could have the maximum use for your little gadget anytime you want to.

Anyone may download games for their iPods with just one click of their computer. Most of these games come in trivia form. Some of the sites in which you may download the games for your Ipod require you to pay for a considerable amount, but you do not need to worry about this, because there are sites which are generous enough to give you the Ipod games for free.

I recommend joining a paid iPod games download site if you want to download unlimited iPod games. These paid iPod download sites allows you to download unlimited iPod games for a one time fee. Besides unlimited iPod games download, you can also download unlimited iPod music and movies.

I find the download speeds to be faster and there are millions of iPod music, games and movies you can download.

The breathalyzer that is an iPhone

iPods and iPhones are everywhere and everyone seems to have one or the other, now a new invention has taken the already brilliant iPhone and iPod and turned them into a remarkable gadget. The iBreath which has gone on sale in the UK this month in the run up to the "drink drive" season tells you if you've had to much to drink. The clever gadget can be plugged into your iPod or iPhone and has a small tube that you blow into for 5 seconds and then gives you your reading within seconds, it also has a FM transmitter which sends your tunes to any car radio wirelessly providing you pass the breath test . The gadget which had been available in America for over a year now has been a must have gizmo for celebrities on Hollywood as it can save the celebrity from a potentially career threatening embarrassment and also thousands of dollars in legal costs and court fees. However the health experts do have concerns over the accuracy of the readings it gives as well as the fact that intoxication levels can vary from person to person. The company selling the product has realised a rather large disclaimer with the product telling its customers that they cannot use this as evidence in court and the New Zealand police had this to say "While it's good that this device raises awareness of the 'don't drink and drive' message, my simple recommendation would be don't drink and drive at all" on the subject. These little pieces of kit cost around $50 in the US and are already becoming a very popular Christmas gift amongst iPhone lovers who are sure to love this funky gadget.

Introducing Truphone mobile phone technology

Normal 0 false false false EN-GB X-NONE X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4

A freeware application for the ipod touch can turn the music player into a virtual mobile phone. ‘Truphone’ uses wireless internet technology in the ipod touch to enable the user to physically call other ipod touch owners and Google Talk’s messaging service users. The software development is a spin off from technology Truphone have developed for smartphones and iphones and the developers of the radical new technology plan to have the capability to call landline phones in place as soon as possible. Could this spell disaster for the iphone? This could be the answer for a cheap iphone, buy the ipod touch and hook up this new mobile phone software.
Ipod touch users who are keen to use the software will have to implement a microphone to the device in order to make and receive calls to the handheld music players. The initial concept is very similar to the internet revelation known as Skype. By using Skype you can make landline and mobile phone calls from your computer for next to nothing. If one user is ‘online’ at the same time as you on Skype then the phone call is totally free of charge and it is understood that Truphone will produce a similar set up.
The CEO of Truphone, Gerldine Wilson has said that the firm aims for global recognition. There is a big neiche in the market and Truphone are not necessarily doing anything illegal, so why not? The only catch for this all to work is that you need to be in range of an active wifi network. The Truphone technology will hopefully be available for the Google phone early next year. The company prefer to target phones with an application feature on the phone already as this is the easiest way to download more information.
The founder of the technology, James Tagg, said that this technology will work on other phones but in a slightly different way than modern phones such as the iphone, google phone and blackberry.

Excellent grand pianos. Exquisite classic guitars.

Short Review of Samsung LN46A650

From the very first moment you mount Samsung LN46A650 on a wall or place upon a cabinet and turn it on, it is a joy to have and use. When the TV is turned on you’ll see a wizard which will ask you whether you’re at home or in a store and suggest choosing a language. In a moment it scans for the channels available, and you’re ready to watch it.

A big and easy-to-find Menu button stands out on a long remote control. After you press it, you can see a good-looking list of menu options which won’t annoy you and obscure the picture. For adjusting settings use the Tools button and its menu. The Source button will show you the list of the HDTV’s inputs with active ones highlighted and at the top.

But nothing is perfect and Samsung LN46A650 is not an exception. As an example, the sound mode can be changed only after turning off a special Entertainment setting which can be found at the setup menu. Another disadvantage is lacking a PIP button on the remote control which would allow watching two inputs at a time, though it is an in-built feature. There are no other extreme flaws in the TV’s remote. Other settings like the aspect ratio, closed captioning, and picture modes are easily set right from the remote. One more thing that makes the remote usable is a jog wheel which replaced a typical circle of arrow buttons.

The list of LN46A650’s features is really big. You can connect any USB storage device to the TV through the side-mounted USB port. At the rear panel you can find an Ethernet port for connecting to Samsung's InfoLink RSS service and getting the news and other information from USA Today from it.

Samsung LN46A650 is a very good product on the TV market. A successful combination of design and usability makes it different and desired by those who appreciate both function and form.

Longing to Be Touched: The Apple iPhone

In the modern age, status is everything, and status is best achieved through technology. From a car with built-in television screens and voice-activated audio playback to appliances able to function on their own without direction from users, technology, increasing in both capability and price, has become the symbol of luxury. No college student can be seen without an iPod, and no professional can be seen without a Blackberry. These devices have become must-haves for the sake of reputation, and while they may not technically be necessary, they become necessary through the pressure of social perception.

When talk of the Apple iPhone first began to circulate throughout the technological world, it was slated as one of the biggest must-haves of 2007. The moment it became a reality, the moment Apple set a release date, it was already sold-out. From pre-orders and online sales to on-sight, week-long lines, the first shipment of iPhones was gone before anyone had the chance to notice or decide whether or not it was worth the hundreds of dollars. But is the Apple iPhone worth its price tag? Or is it simply another victory for marketing and advertising? Time will tell, but so far, the Apple iPhone has been met with mixed reviews, even though some consumers live and die by the device.

Behind the Name

Apple as a brand name has become a staple of technology. From the iMac to the iPod, it is the crowning achievement of multimedia devices; in a sense, it is not worth buying an mp3 player unless it is an iPod, or a laptop unless it is a PowerBook. While the prices of Apple devices are steep, the company seems to defend the cost: cheaper devices rarely do well in the face of Apple products, and consumers are more than willing to put down hundreds more for one of the items. This is due in part to Apple’s marketing, but also to its reliability; the company has proven that its products are durable, long-lasting and cutting edge, and third-party companies release their products ultimately to be compatible with Apple products. For a consumer, this means that buying Apple assures only the best, from both Apple itself and every other company involved with the product.

So what about the Apple iPhone? While it is a technological wonder, combining an iPod, cell phone and internet browser all at once in a sleek, sexy package with a touch screen and virtual keyboard that makes geeks and lawyers alike drool, it is expensive, and to many, unnecessary.  For those who already own an iPod and a cell phone, not much else is gained with the Apple iPhone save the convenience of having it all in one place. Most cell phones have built-in internet browsers and cameras, and any edition of the iPod is capable of excellent music playback.  Thankfully for Apple, the Apple iPhone was slated the best invention of 2007, and even those consumers who had no need for the device just had to buy it to stay in the loop and save their reputations. And even those who have yet to buy the device probably will when their cell phones or iPods need upgrades, or when their provider contracts expire. Apple has proven that anything it releases is golden, and whenever it is time to shop for a new technological device, its products top almost anyone’s list.

You could consider a good iPhone dock like the iStation. If not, how about taking a look at a list of cool gadgets that you will surely like?

Apple iPhone - The Exclusive Mixture of Mobile Phone and iPod

Have you ever known about iPhone? If you ask what’s the new from Apple, then iPhone is the answer. Undoubtable, Apple has made development in the computer world. Just say Apple desktops and laptops that have set the standard of audio and video supremacy, in which most art school students can not survive without one. Hence, it can be said that iPhone is a new breakthrough gadget today.

Before releasing iPhone, Apple focus on multimedia, film editing software and also song playback and graphic design. RecentlyIn recent time, the company has worked hard to make its hardware more compatible with the rest of the world. Thus, Apple iPhone users can connect to PC users easier.

Apple’s name turns to be a status symbol since its success as the pacesetter of mp3 player, iPod, and it was just before the business decided to develop even further. Then, in June of 2007, Apple launched the concept of the iPhone, given that there is really no place that Apple can not go.

All-in-One for Everyone

The Apple iPhone is one of the most multipurpose cell phone gadgets available anywhere in the market. A cell phone and an iPod all-in-one, the gadget provides a touch screen, virtual keyboard and shortcut buttons. It functions as an mp3 player, a camera and an internet browser with the use of Wi-Fi connectivity. And similar to all cell phones, it offers text messaging as well as voicemail.

The Apple iPhone is better than oldest iPods. Users can play videos, watch television and full movies and even download music directly from iTunes right unto the device via the Wi-Fi feature. Users can sort music and videos according to songs, artists, albums and genres, and they can even see the album art for most of their mp3s. The gadget is available with multiple hard drive sizes, from 4gb to 16gb, though the 4gb model is being ended.

In fact with so much space, it is obvious that so many software programs have been increased for use with the iPhone. The iPhone employs a version of the OS X operating system, the same that is used on Apple’s standard computers. This makes programs like Safari and iTunes to run well.

Regular OS X versions will not work with the iPhone encodings because the processor used is different though these programs need to be developed specially for the gadget. Even so, many of third-party companies have already started developing new and better programs for use with the gadget, hoping to trade in on the phenomenon as well as broaden the usage of their software.

Free iPhone Downloads – Download iPhone Games, Music and Movies

More and more iPhone owners are looking online for free iPhone downloads. With the abundance of sites these days, it´s not wonder that there are plenty of sites covering the iPhone downloads.

There is a lot of talk these days about downloads and everyone is looking to benefit from them, from iPod owners to PC owners. But there is a problem here, that a lot of these sites are illegal. You can download for free, but usually it´s against the law, and this is something you should know.

While companies and governments keep getting better at finding those that download illegal software and media files, some iPhone download sites exist that will offer you everything you need and are legal at the same time. Below are a few tips on how to find a good iPhone download site that is legal.

The first thing to check is whether the site actually offers free iPhone downloads. That´s because there are a number of sites that don´t offer iPhone downloads, but still claim that they do. Pick a site that offers mostly iPhone downloads so you get the best support possible in this area.

The second thing to check for is if the downloads are transferred to the iPhone, because some companies will ask you to buy software to convert them first.

See what kind of files they offer for download. Some sites will offer you iPhone downloads for free, but it´s mostly videos or music, and not everything you could use on your iPhone. Look for something that has all types of media files.

Finally, when you want to look for a free iPhone download site is to know that you will have to pay. You need to do that because truly decent sites that offer all the games, music and movies you need are usually based on paid memberships.

These paid memberships usually are on a one time fee and in return you get access for life. It´s not that expensive, usually around $35-40 and it´s not that much if you consider that for that money you get unlimited downloads for the rest of your life.

Apple Iphone Review

Apple iPhone Review: Don’t Believe The Hype

Edsel. New Coke. Apple Ipod?

Reviews of Apple’s much-hyped new gizmo have suggested that this just might be one of the most hated products in American history. Much like the car Edsel (named after a draft-dodging member of the Ford family) and New Coke (which tasted just like Pepsi). Still despite the reviews, the Apple iPhone has generated an absurd amount of revenue for Apple. Apparently, people were curious about just how bad a cell phone can be.

Will the Apple iPhone merge with other devices?

One of the most popular viral videos since the phone’s much-hyped 2007 release is that of a blender seller, who put an iPhone in a blender and turned on the machine. This was done to show off the strength of the blender, but also seemed to be more than a cutting review of the Apple iPhone by the blender seller. The fact that the video went viral and became so popular, (more so than the Blendtec blender he was selling), means that many others seemed to agree with this particular review on Apples new iPhone.

Maybe next time, Steve Jobs

Although you could go to a high tech website such as CNet.com to read geek’s Apple iPhone reviews, they sometimes are a bit difficult to understand with all of the jargon and techno-babble. It would be best to read Apple iPhone reviews by an average person or do some personal investigation on your own. Apple iPhone reviews are easy to find online, simply type in: "Apple iPhone reviews", in whatever search engine you use and you will find plenty to read.

Cara Volle wrote a review on Helium.com that you might want to check out. It begins, "Sorry Steve Jobs, but I hate your effing iPhone", that’s about all I can reprint here. Although not exactly Pulitzer Prize winning material, it does give you an indication about how good a gizmo an iPhone could be.

Complaints about the iPhone from others have ranged from its choice of AT&T as network provider to the cost. The picture quality of its camera is said to be pretty disappointing and streamlining video still has a lot of bugs to work out. People also began to notice very quickly, that the iPhone gets hot to-the-touch when using it for extended periods, which has caused many to worry about it’s safety. Computer security specialists have also found ways to hack into an iPhone, and if they can do it, so can cyber criminals.

Whenever a new techie toy appears, there are bound to be bugs that only customers can find. Before purchasing your Apple iPhone, I would suggest waiting about one year so they can work out all the bugs and then create a much better product, one you may find worth waiting for.

iPhone Ringtones Download – Download Unlimited iPhone Ringtones

Apple has always been a producer of software and hardware that has great appeal to those that consider themselves unconventional. That should be enough of a hint to the vast popularity of the ringtones for iPhone right now and the personalization of these mobile phones. There is a price attached to it, but people have many choices when it comes to the personalization of their iPhone.

The iTunes users can presently customize their sound tracks and they can even create their own iPhone ringtones. Now the iPhone comes equipped with a ringtone maker, which lets the user pick one of the hundreds of thousands of songs that the iTunes Store has.

On this site you can pay 99 cents for any song that has a bell next to it. That bell means that it can be converted to a ringtone. First, you pay for the song and you buy it. Then, the new owner can play any part of that song and add special effects to it, while keeping only 30 seconds of it to form the ringtone.

You pay another 99 cents for the ringtone, so it costs you $1.98 to create an iPhone ringtone through iTunes. If you go buy your ringtone from somewhere else, it will cost you $2.49, so this is a bit cheaper. After you buy your new ringtone, you sync the iPhone to the system and you download it. Easy!

Experts from the industry are talking and arguing on how effective the cost is, but users don´t seem to be too impressed. The problem is that users don´t want to pay twice for a song.

Because if you pay for the song to own it, you have to pay again to make it a ringtone. While $1.98 is a good price, the fact that you already own the song and you´re not allowed to use it as a ringtone unless you buy it again is a problem for most people.

Some people are actually talking about using the iPod manually, by choosing a song and playing it when the iPhone vibrates or rings. This is because this way it´s legal and iPhone users don´t have to pay an extra dollar for a song to make it a ringtone.

Of course, as you would expect, there are plenty of tips online to work around this problem. Some say that it would be enough to buy the iToner for $15 and use it to convert songs into ringtones, so you don´t have to pay a dollar for each song.

There are even forums that deal with these activities. Some suggest that it´s enough to simply change the extension of an iTunes song to that of a ringtone. So, take the AAC music files and manually change their extension to M4R (that ringtones have). That´s it, you can sync the iPhone and take the ringtones.

iPod nano 4G in Your Car

You've probably heard that the new iPod nano 4g is out and its hot. Dubbed the chromatic iPod nano: the 4g comes in nine colours including the popular blue nano iPod 4g. The latest version of the iPod empire still has some technical disadvantages as earlier iPods but that doesn't seem to dent its popularity.
Slimmer than last year's 3g the latet iPod returns to the slimmer look 2g, so if you are upgrading you will need to be on the look out for a cheap case to protect your nano 4g. There is a huge selection of cases available for a product which has only been released for a month or so with everything available from hard clear cases to multi-colour skins for the funky look. There is also a great range of more corporate looking cases in leather and a range of colours.
Not sure how to use your iPod in your vehicle? You'll need to choose which car adaptor is right for your iPod nano 4g. A direct connection will give you the best quality sound generally but many people prefer a iPod nano 4g FM transmitter which is a wireless connection to broadcast your iPod's music via your vehicle's FM stereo.

One thing to consider when looking at the new iPod nano's is that they still lack a built in radio and also don't have the best sound quality compared to some other mp3 players. Sure iPods win the style war but you paying top dollar for a fairly basic mp3 player which insists that you have to use iTunes 8 to download music and which offers less than other comparable mp3 players.

Want the best price for an iPod- then consider buying one of the older iPod 2g or even the original iPod shuttle. You can readily enough get the older models in many stores or online websits.

Download iPhone Music – Download Unlimited iPhone Music

People often think on how they can download iPhone music. Yes, there are a lot of sites that seem to offer iPhone music, but finding one that gives you everything you need isn´t that easy. It can be especially hard if you´re a beginner when it comes to downloading music from the Internet.

If you´re looking for a site where you can download music for the iPhone, know that a site good for some might not be suited for you. Everyone likes different things in life, and expect different things. To make your decision easier, you should decide on a few things before you go looking for the site best suited for you. Things like how much you want to pay for a song or what type of music you want to download.

If you have an iPod, then you already have iTunes and you can easily download music for your iPhone. They do have a lot of songs available and the prices are quite ok, since most people can afford paying the $0.99 price. And the quality is guaranteed. Those that download a lot of music though, can find this method quite expensive and probably not worth it.

If you´re one of those that enjoy a lot of music and you don´t want to be limited in the number of songs you can download, then you will want to find a site with a very large database of iPhone music, either a P2P network or a site that offers paid memberships.

The only good part of the P2P is that is free. But using these types of sites will make you vulnerable to viruses and malware, privacy problems and identity theft. Other problems include bad audio quality, slow download speed and violating copyright laws.

The second option is joining a site that offers paid memberships. While they aren´t free, the cost isn´t that big. Some offer a monthly subscription, others yearly and some for lifetime. All options include an unlimited number of downloads for the period that you get your subscription.

You might think that doing this would cost you quite a bit, but you would be wrong. Anyone can pay for such a membership, even a teenager, because the price usually is between $39.99 and $49.99. It´s not an offer that you should refuse, if you consider all the music you could be downloading.

There are plenty of membership sites to choose from these days, but don´t expect the same user experience at all of them. You should compare these sites based on the music genres they offer, the prices for their memberships and how many songs they offer.

You can pick a site that either offers only iPhone music or one that has a very large collection of iPhone downloads. Other things you can take into consideration is how easy it is to search and to navigate. Also, check if the site offers tools to convert the files to the iPhone.

A lot of people use membership sites to download their iPhone music because it´s convenient.

Download iPhone Movies – Download Movies On iPhone

There are a lot of places these days where you can download iPhone movies. With the iPhone launch and the new technology that it brings with it, the demand will explode and it can eventually be larger than the supply. Here you´ll learn how to download iPhone movies.

There is some basic hardware you will need in order to download the movies. A personal computer is a must here and also sufficient hard drive space to store the movies, which are much larger than songs are. Besides the PC, you also need a USB cable, so you can connect the computer to the iPhone.

For iPhone movies download, you have to look for a site that offers them. In the past, P2P was the best method of downloading these files. They still exist, but they are against the law and you can be brought to justice if you use them. But these aren´t the only problems with P2P sites, like trojans or viruses that can compromise your computer and your security.

But, don´t despair, you can download movies safely from sites that are legal. There is a joining fee of $40, and after paying it you can download all the movies you want from those sites. You need to pay that fee so those sites can afford keeping the servers running and have the latest movies in their collection.

You don´t need the best computer to download movies. It should only be good enough, but the internet connection should be as good as you can have it. That´s because movies are much larger than songs and a dial up connection might not be ideal.

You can download files and than transferring them to an iPod without problems. Using a site that asks only for a one time fee is the best option available to download iPhone movies.

It´s really easy getting the iPhone movies you love if you know how to do it.

Download Free iPod Movies – How To Get Downloadable iPod Movies

Do you own an iPod? If you do, then you certainly want to fill it with movies. As you may already know, not all iPods can have full videos in them. The iPods that can have video on them are iPod Video and iPod Touch.

The new generation of iPod Nanos can have movies too. With this capability, a lot of people want to have one. The next step after owning your own iPod is putting the movies in it. If you already have movies in your PC or DVDs, what you can do is convert them to an iPod compatible format using a DVD to iPod converter.

Download a converter from websites like download.com and install it to your computer. Once a converter finishes converting a movie to an iPod compatible format, you can now simply drag and drop the movie to your iTunes to transfer it to your iPod.

You may want to know what you can do when you don´t have any movies with you or you don´t have the copy of the movie that you want to put in your iPod. One thing you can do is to download it. There are lots of sites that allows you to download free iPod movies.

I would advise downloading from these free ipod downloading sites as the quality of the movie is usually poor and the download speeds are slow. Many of these sites have viruses and spyware when you visit them and can wreck havoc on your computer.

Another alternative is to join a paid ipod movie download membership site. These sites allow you to download unlimited ipod movies for a one time fee. Besides ipod moves, you can also download ipod games, music and more. They also provide technical support should you have problems downloading ipod media files.

Once you downloaded the movie you want, you can now put it in your iPod. Enjoy!

Is Zune still the iPod killer

Launched in November 2006 by Microsoft the Zune was hailed as the killer of iPod. The Zune is a digital media player made for Microsoft by Toshiba. Video and podcast stores as well as online music will be provided by the new software which includes the Zune Marketplace.

Zune has a few features that they thought would help them overtake iPod in the market but and although the features are good they did not reckon with the faithful followers of iPod. Zune comes with a built in FM radio, it has the ability to share its songs wirelessly on Windows PCs computers and with other Zune’s. On Windows XP and Vista users can, rip audio CDs, manage files, and buy songs, TV shows and video music using Zunes software.

The Advantages of Zune

The first Zune was released with a 30GB memory. The player although larger and heavier than iPod’s 30GB issue, has a bright colour screen that is half an inch larger than the iPod's.

Zune supports unprotected AAC files which is better than using the default settings for ripping CD’s with the iPod and the FM tuner should give it a big advantage over the apple iPod.

The Zune Wi-Fi connectivity put portable media players on new territory. Users will be able to socialize with there music universe with the Wi-Fi feature. The portability is attractive to younger people who want to exchange songs with there friends.

The Zune Marketplace is subscription based and integrated so that there online database can be accessed without having to download to your computer before accessing new music. The ability to download as many songs as you want for a flat fee is another important aspect.

The interface combines horizontal and vertical scrolling, with many top-level menus displaying horizontally across the top of the screen, while lists of tracks or track information run vertically which is another great advantage. The Zune interface runs almost instantaneously through playlist tracks and during shuffle play and are generally much faster than the iPod. The circular main control is touch sensitive on Zune and has four-position directional control as well as a central select button.

Zunes larger display screen makes a big difference over the course of extended viewing and also boasts great quality audio, with clear and crisp video. It has tons of cool features, and synchronizes nicely with windows media centre. Because Zune also works with Xbox 360 most people think it's fun to use.

The disadvantages of Zune.

The first disadvantage is as we have already said it is larger and heavier than an iPod.

Zune had a lot of early problems and needed firmware updates from the start. And quite a few people had reservations about Microsoft’s Digital Rights Management policy.

The Electronic Frontier Foundation, in opposition to the Zune’s DRM, wrote:

Microsoft’s Zune will not play protected Windows Media Audio and Video purchased or ‘rented’ from Napster 2.0, Rhapsody, Yahoo! Unlimited, Movielink, Cinemanow, iTunes, or any other online media service. The Zune will not even play content previously purchased from Microsoft’s own MSN Music service. ...The media that Microsoft promised would Play For Sure doesn't even play on Microsoft’s own device.”

The following year saw less strict DRM from Microsoft and the allowed about 1/3 more tracks to be without it.

Zune like rival iPod will only be compatible with its own software provided by Microsoft's from September 2008.

Another problem is when you receive a song from a friend as you are only allowed to listen to it three times before it will expire. You cannot resend it to a third party.

Zune Marketplace is not easy to use and iTunes is a much simpler option. iTunes is simple and very elegant to use and is very intuitive. With iTunes you can just click on a song and pay your 99 cents with your credit card. You have to buy at the very least $5 of points when buying from the Zune Marketplace. So if you only need one 99cent song Microsoft are holding onto your other $4.1 until you want to purchase another song. It is not easy as it is based on a points system. One song will cost you 79 points which you may think is cents while the actual 79 points costs 99cents. So buying music from Microsoft is over complicated and not easy to figure out?

So Will the Zune overtake iPod?

One question everyone is asking is can Zune catch up to iPod. Well a recent survey from Piper Jaffray's bi-annual teen survey showed that Apple's share of the portable media player market among high school students increased to 84 percent, it was 80 percent a year ago. 78% said that if they where going to buy a MP3 player then it would be an iPod. Zunes share of the market is up from the 2% last year and it now commands 3%. Now 15% of the teen’s surveyed plan to buy a Zune if they purchase within the next year. An increase from the 13% of last year.

So it looks like the Zune is progressing in the MP3 player market but not at a rate that will cause the Apple iPod and problems in the near future. Zune does is not supported on Mac computers and a lot of youngsters are using them so creating another problem for Zune.

Major Flaws Of The iPhone

iPhone 3g Flaws

The iPhone has been hailed as the best and greatest cell phone to ever come out. However, many people feel that the iPhone has many major flaws.

Not Available To All

One of the major iPhone flaws is that it is not available to everyone. This phone is only available to one carrier” AT&T. If the iPhone truly wanted to expand and change the world of cell phones, it would be available to more than just one carrier.

Slow Internet

AT&T only offers one type of internet service to iPhone customers. This is a major iPhone flaw. Other internet providers on other phone networks are much faster and more efficient.

Poor Battery Performance

If you have an iPhone, one of the iPhone flaws is that you will have to send your phone in every year or two to have a new battery replaced. Not only can you not do this yourself, but you will also need to pay to have the battery replaced. Except several days of withdraw from your iPhone while you wait to have the battery replaced!

No Global Positioning System!

Almost every new phone these days has a global positioning system. However, despite the huge price tag, a major iPhone flaw is that it does not have a global positioning system. There are programs, like Google Maps, available, but you have to know exactly where you are to get correct information.

If you choose to purchase an iPhone, make sure you know the iPhone flaws before spending your money.

No Adobe Flash Support

Even though iPhone is a more than capable web device, the biggest drawback as a web device is that the iPhone doesn't support Adobe's Flash technology, which means many multimedia-rich sites remain off limits. This should be overcome in the future as Adobe is apparently going to make its technology iPhone-friendly. The question is when?

No Video recording

Despite the iPhone's built-in two-megapixel camera, Apple didn't include video capabilities. This from a company that provides computers preloaded with iMovie and provides video viewing capabilities with most of their iPod range. So if you want to record video, you'd better talk to Sony!

No multimedia messaging service

There are some things dirt-cheap phones do that the vaunted iPhone cannot. If you want to open an image sent to you via MMS (multimedia messaging service) from one of the dirt-cheap phones then don’t get an iPhone. The deficiency of support for Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS) is one of the most annoying iPhone flaws.

Are Walmart Gift Cards a Good Buy?

Despite many of the negative press lately about the de-valuation of gift cards there is still one place where people can find full-valued Walmart Gift Cards. Aside from the fact that they are free there are many reasons to go check it out? Yes, free.    Lowest unique bid auction sites are rare but there is one among them that stands out not for just the freebies they offer but also for their cause.

Auctions4aCause runs many lowest unique bid auctions at any given time where biddes can pay a bid fee of around $10 for a chance to win high-dollar, high-value items. Most of the time they run some special auctions where it's free to bid and win. The gratis bidding is for th $75 gift card and it could be yours for no money out of pocket. Not only can you win cool things for less than $10 but a portion of profit from each item auction goes to well-known charities. From IPOD auctions to macbookair and cheap Nintendo Wii's the selection is sufficient.

Mac genes aside the macbookair is one of the hottest mobile computing devices available. What was once a computer relegated to desktop pubishing the Macbook Air is gaining ground as a popular tool for any purpose. It gets it's thin build thanks to a backlit LED display and combined with other feature enables it to outpace the competition.

The idea of the lowest unique bid gives this website a leg-up on the other auctions sites on the net. The unique idea results in a pre-determined number of bids while not restricting the number of bids you can make. Certainly, the optimum outcome is to make 4 or 5 bids and win the thing for less than $50. There are definitely some strategies to contemplate before placing a bid.

The site is a bit confusing at first but go check it out and learn for yourself how you could win a $75 Walmart Gift Card for free!

IPod Auctions & More

The world has been overrun by IPods. Everbody and their brother has one. I don't know anyone who doesn't already have one. If you have waited this long to buy one, I'm sure you already know that you can count on spending from $50 to $300 for just the basic unit, depending on the model you get. And we haven't even discussed accessories yet.  You know, you could spend way more than necessary and not even get what you want if you don't get a little background info before you go shopping.

You can start out with the basic model - the IPod Shuffle. You could take a step up and go with the Nano. You could decide on the iPod Classic for a video screen and enough room to hold 1,000 or even 2,000 songs. But what if you settled on the iPod Touch?

The iPod Touch has a multi-touch interface, a 3.5 inch widescreen color display, and Wi-Fi. You can listen to music, upload pictures or watch videos. If you want to spend $500, you can even get 32GB of memory.

Apple left the door open for a plethora of accessories as well. There are all kinds of screen protectors, cases and car accessories for them. All these thing add up when you decide to buy one.

iPod auctions are an easy way to locate your desired model as well as all the other add-ons for a song. Go lookup www.auctions4acause.com. Some of the money even goes to charity if you choose them. Go find an iPod you really want with the case, speaker set and home base unit and find the best price too. Instead of cutting back on the accessories, simply find a lower price.

Now that you've done some research it will be easy to make the right choice and get the best price when you go shopping for your iPod.

Are Apple iPhones Everything Advertisers Claim?

Can You Trust all the Talk Surrounding Apple iPhones?

Recognize these famous icons: Edsel, New Coke and Apple Ipod?

After all the publicity surrounding Apple’s new iPhone the public opinion is in, and people are sorely disappointed in the device. Making it similar in reputation to the Edsel car which received it’s bad name after a former Ford family member dodged the draft, or the New Coke which really tasted like Pepsi. However, the iPhone has still made an incredible amount of money for Apple. Evidently, consumers are interested in just how bad a cell phone could be.

Does It Blend Well With Others?

In 2007 there was a video of a salesman putting the iPhone in a blender then turning it on, this made it one of the most watched video clips on the internet. This was done to show off the strength of the blender, but also seemed to be more than a cutting review of the Apple iPhone by the blender seller. Since the video went viral rather quickly, it indicates a lot of people concurred with his disapproval of Apple’s new iPhone and in fact the video became much more well known than the Blendtec blender he was trying to sell.

Try again, Steve Jobs

Although you could go to a high tech website such as CNet.com to read geek’s Apple iPhone reviews, they sometimes are a bit difficult to understand with all of the jargon and techno-babble. Probably the best Apple iPhone reviews are done by the average person and you can find many to choose from on the internet. You can find them practically anywhere online by just typing " Apple iPhone review " into your favorite search engine.

Helium.com has a few reviews and the one in particular done by Cara Volle is worth reading. Her comments begin first by telling Steve Jobs in her own words how much she hates his iPhone. Although not exactly Pulitzer Prize winning material, it does give you an indication about how good a gizmo an iPhone could be.

People have verbalized their disapproval of Apple iPhone’s everywhere, from cost to the way Apple strictly limited the network provider you have to use, which is AT&T. Many have also complained about the camera function not being up to par, and the much anticipated video capability which still had some work to be done before it should have been released to the public. There’s also a disturbing trend for the iPhone to get physically very hot when in use. Computer security specialists have also found ways to hack into an iPhone, and if they can do it, so can cyber criminals.

Whenever a new techie toy appears, there are bound to be bugs that only customers can find. It’s good to keep in mind that all new technical products usually have some bugs to be worked out. You would do good to wait until the next major upgrade is released in order to give them time needed to address the problems and provide you with a much better device.

A Quick Recap of Apple iPhones Origins

Taking a Look at the History of the Apple iPhone

Apple has a long standing reputation for always coming out with modern products that are geared to cater to the masses. Already before the release of Apple iPhone in June 2007, guesses had been made widely about the outlook, the specifications and about the general properties of the product. It was no surprise, that what had people talking was the idea of having an incredible new ground-breaking device, that would be an iPod, mobile phone and tool for accessing the internet all in one.

Launching Apple iPhones

The vision for the Apple iPhone was eventually thought of after Steve Jobs, CEO of Apple, had a conference meeting with some of the engineers to start researching ways to develop the touch screen which was most likely intended for Apple’s tablet PC. However, in April 2003, he declared in a conference that the development of traditional PDAs or tablet PCs was not the way ahead for Apple.

The new direction was to move forward in evolving the technologies used in cell phones and the options provided with them. In January 2007 during the MacWorld Expo, Apple announced it’s soon to be released new iPhone product would be available by June 2007. At another conference that same year, it was revealed that the Apple iPhone would sustain third parties which would create Web 2.0 applications and that users could access this through the internet.

Consumer Ready and Future Developments

It was on June 29, 2007 that the Apple iPhone was put on sale for the public and people came out in full force, lining up in front of stores to be able to get one as soon as possible. When it was first released there were two types to choose from: one with a flash drive of 4GB for $499 and the other with 8GB for $599 however, the sales for the 8GB exceeded the other version so much that they suspended all manufacturing of the 4GB.

Moreover, as a further development, the price was radically reduced by $200 in September, for which Apple was quite widely attacked because the sudden drop in price was believed to be unfair. Apple iPhone’s initial popularity was not close to the level Apple had anticipated it would be.

Apple anticipated the first weekend sales to come in around 200,000 to 700,000 devices sold to the public. But just roughly around 145,000 activations were registered for the first weekend.

One downfall was that the applications offered on the Apple iPhone, could only be activated buy getting a two year subscription with AT&T, which was a restriction many people did not appreciate. Catching the attention of the media was the story of a 300 page bill someone received from AT&T, since then changes have been made in their invoice statements.

The Apple iPhone went international during the fourth quarter of 2007 and began to sell their iPhone’s in Germany, France, Europe and the United Kingdom. The international release went well, except for in Europe because Apple decided to only allow one company to sell the iPhone and that seem to be a potential legal issue.

Free MP3 Music Book Downloads Are Offered In Many Different Ways

free audio books

There are numerous people who express surprise when they learn that audio books have been available ever since the 1930s, even though they were not widely available until many years later. Now, some eighty years since that time, more and more people are listening to what used to be called "books on tape." However, in this digital age, audio books are not often found on tape. MP3s are more popular. Even more popular are free MP3 audio book downloads that allow people to put the recording on their computer or iPod, without spending a nickel.

Even though audio books had been available for a number of years, they really gained in popularity in the late 1970s when the Sony Walkman became so popular. This small cassette tape player made it possible for people to easily take recorded material with them in a convenient way that had never before been popular. Then, about a decade later, the compact disc was introduced and suddenly the newest and best music and audio books on CD became more popular. While you can still buy an audio book on CD today, most people prefer to get their audio books in MP3 format.

There is a huge selection of free MP3 audio book titles that are available these days. However, not all MP3 audio book titles can be found as a free download. For the most part, brand new releases of popular books on CD or MP3s are still sold and are copyrighted, so they cannot be given away for free without consent from the publisher.

In some instances, an author, or their publisher, will offer a free MP3 audio book version of the work to customers who purchase the printed hardcover book. This can be a valuable incentive to the customer and also an effective advertising and marketing strategy that is particularly helpful when a brand new author is trying to gain a name and reputation.

Many times, an independent author who does not have their own publisher will build a website to promote a new book that they have written and will offer the free MP3 audio book as a bonus when the customer buys their printed book or their e-book. This can also be a good way to drive up sales or to launch a new website because people are always attracted to the potential to get something for free and most people consider an audio book download to have a lot of value, especially if it is on a topic about which they are interested.

There are a number of websites these days that have vast libraries of MP3 audio book downloads that cover just about any topic that have ever been written about. Some of these sites are membership websites and when you register as a free member or purchase a paid membership to their site, many will provide their new members with free MP3 audio book selections as a part of their membership.

You can also find many free MP3 audio book downloads by searching the websites of the various large public libraries. Also, there are some specialized websites that have undertaken projects of collecting a vast number of works that are now in the public domain and they have made e-books and audio books available for people to download either for free or by making a small donation to help with the costs of running the website.
